Welcome to the 'Songs of the West' website - the successor to my 'Sabine Baring-Gould - Songs of the West' site, which it replaces.  The old site was long overdue for an overhaul and, over the coming months, I will be putting the best of the old alongside a lot of new stuff.  Please bear with me while I complete work on the new site.

The intent remains the same - to publish information related to Baring-Gould's song collection as well as useful background information to put it into context.  I will also be including a larger selection of the songs that we have transcribed from the manuscripts.  There will also be a number of useful resources: links, indexes, articles and ... well, anything that I think is a good idea, really.
